How is this different from a staffing agency?
Staffing agencies fill seats. HMCG defines the role around your practice's needs, assesses candidates for healthcare leadership fit, and develops your new leader after they start.
What does the 90-day replacement guarantee cover?
If a placed leader resigns or is let go for performance within 90 days of their start date, HMCG conducts one replacement search at no additional fee. The guarantee applies when placement fees are paid on schedule, and it does not cover layoffs, restructuring or significant changes to the role after hire.
How long does it take to hire a practice manager?
Most searches reach an accepted offer in 6–10 weeks. The role diagnostic up front usually shortens the search by making the target clear, and the 90-Day Accelerator begins on your new leader's start date.
Do you recruit for specialty practices?
Yes. HMCG places leaders in primary care, specialty and multi-specialty outpatient practices.
Do you recruit outside the DC area?
Yes. HMCG recruits practice leaders nationwide and runs searches remotely. Practices in the DMV (Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland) can also have on-site role diagnostics, interviews and Accelerator sessions.
How is placement priced?
Placement fees start at 20% of the leader's first-year base salary. The 90-Day Accelerator and 6-Month Integration Program are priced as add-ons, and the Practice Talent Partner retainer offers reduced fees for practices planning several hires.
